Steps to Establish a CSF Chapter
1. Begin to plan community awareness programs and community fundraising events in your local area in connection with the CSF Community Outreach.
CSF Community Outreach
At the small and informal Community Awareness Program (CAP), you invite your friends, family and others who are interested to learn about CM and SM and about our organization. Our goal is to reach beyond the current CSF membership to raise awareness and educate as any people as possible.
At the larger, more formal Community Fundraising Events (CFE), attendees will join representatives from CSF as they share their commitment to finding a cure for CM and SM. This powerful event will highlight cutting edge research, the human impact of CM and SM, and the vision for CSF's sustainable future, while attendees will have the opportunity to make a donation, if they choose to.
2. Establish a base of individuals, patients, and families for the national database.
3. Determine 3-5 committee members to make formal application for chapter.
4. Apply to CSF National to establish a CSF Chapter in your area.
