1st Annual Race for the Cure Recap

Date:
September 7, 2008
Location:

Arlington Park Race Course
2200 W. Euclid
Arlington Heights, Illinois

There were over 300 people in attendance on September 7, 2008 at the beautiful Arlington Park Race Course. We are happy to report that this event raised over $200,000 for the quarter of a million people who suffer with CM & SM.

Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet, open bar and a wonderful silent auction with autographed sports and celebrity memorabilia, fabulous art, dazzling jewelry and spectacular trips. In addition, live auction items included Tiger Woods and Muhammad Ali memorabilia, a chinchilla fur jacket, a 90' dinner yacht cruise, and dinner and golf with Bob Jones IV (grandson of famed golfer Bobby Jones) and our raffle prize was a 50" flat panel HDTV.
