About Us
The Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization built on leadership, vision and commitment to find a cure for Chiari malformation (CM), syringomyelia (SM) and related CSF (Cerebrospinal Fluid) disorders, was founded in October 2007.
CSF is comprised of many recognized world-class physicians, scientists and professionals who agreed to collaborate and form a superior Medical Research Board. The trusted and familiar names of our dedicated Board of Directors, savvy Board of Trustees, and experienced staff have been leaders in the SM/CM community for years. They have the skills and passion to create, fund, and direct programs and research that will change the lives of the quarter of a million families affected by CM/SM.
